Photography-tour group working in a mountain landscape at golden hour
Commerce and trip operations for photography tour companies

Run the entire photography‑trip experience—not just checkout.

Fuchs Travels connects discovery, booking, destination planning, client preparation, and live trip coordination in one system built for photography-tour operators.

Choose your setup

Three paths for three different business needs

Use the shared marketplace to reach photography travelers, help shape a direct-booking package for your existing audience, or commission a dedicated managed platform.

Fuchs Marketplace

Get discovered and run bookings in the shared Fuchs Travels environment.

$0 /month
4.5% on connected Stripe bookings. Stripe processing is separate.
  • Photography-tour marketplace discovery
  • Tour pages, departures, itineraries, and operator profiles
  • Connected Stripe checkout and booking records
  • Shared operator and client workflow

The 6.5% alternative creates a booking request; you arrange and collect payment separately.

  • Booking pages for operator-owned traffic
  • Widget and API requirements shaped with partners
  • Subscription plus lower or capped usage as the target model
  • Operator workflow for an existing customer base

This is not a generally available plan. Billing, entitlements, attribution, and final terms are still being designed.

One connected workflow

Commerce connected to the photography-trip lifecycle

Instead of stopping at a reservation, Fuchs connects how a traveler discovers, evaluates, books, prepares for, and experiences a photography trip.

Discover

Photography-tour marketplace, destinations, editorial content, galleries, and discovery surfaces.

Evaluate

Tour pages, itineraries, instructor profiles, departure options, imagery, and photography context.

Book

Connected Stripe checkout and deposits, or a clearly labeled booking-request workflow.

Prepare

Equipment, itinerary, destination, and photography information configured for the trip.

Travel

Client coordination and trip-session capabilities selected for the operator's rollout.

Continue

Transactional communication, galleries, repeat-trip discovery, and operator follow-up where enabled.

Why a connected system

Choose the outcome, not a checklist of isolated features

Different tools solve different parts of a tour business. Fuchs is designed to connect commerce with the complete client-facing photography-trip experience.

Booking software

Optimizes reservations, payments, inventory, and day-to-day operations.

Marketplaces

Optimize distribution and help travelers discover products they might not otherwise find.

DIY stacks

Optimize flexibility and low initial cost by combining separate products and workflows.

Fuchs connects these layers around photography travel. The advantage is one joined customer journey instead of a stack of disconnected handoffs.

For operators who want photography travelers to find and book their tours in the shared Fuchs environment. You retain the operator-client relationship and fulfill the trip.

  • Included: marketplace listing, shared tour pages, booking records, and standard operator workflow.
  • Payments: connected charges occur in your Stripe account; Stripe controls your normal payout schedule.
  • Implementation: operator approval, profile setup, tour content, and payment connection.

Direct: shape the operator-owned traffic package

For companies that already generate demand and want booking pages, widgets, APIs, and operator workflow without paying marketplace economics on every direct relationship.

  • Proposed scope: direct presentation, operator workflow, and integration requirements developed with the cohort.
  • Target economics: a subscription plus a materially lower or capped usage fee.
  • Implementation: design-partner discovery before product and commercial terms are finalized.

Custom managed deployment

White Label: dedicated brand and operating environment

For operators that need a dedicated domain and deployment, branded web experience, implementation support, or custom enterprise and multi-supplier scope.

  • Standard proposal areas: discovery, deployment, web branding, agreed migration, launch, and managed operation.
  • Commercial structure: setup, monthly management, and stepped or capped usage based on GMV and scope.
  • Separately scoped: integrations, multi-supplier workflows, enhanced support, app work, and bespoke development.
  • Boundary: support, SLA, portability, infrastructure handoff, and exit assistance are contract-specific.

Dedicated deployment is more than a roadmap idea

Aerial Media is a public example of the managed White Label path in production.

Verified deployment facts

Aerial Media operates on its own domain and brand.

The site runs as a separate production deployment with a separate data environment. It demonstrates that Fuchs can support a dedicated implementation. Each future White Label engagement is scoped around the operator.

  • DomainA dedicated public domain
  • BrandAerial Media's web identity and presentation
  • EnvironmentA separate application deployment
  • DataA separate production data environment
Transparent economics

The commercial model follows the job you need done

The right path depends on where bookings come from, the level of brand and infrastructure control you need, and the implementation and support scope.

Custom

White Label

A proposal can combine discovery and setup, monthly management, scoped usage, support, and optional implementation work.

Connected checkout and booking requests are different. With connected checkout, the customer pays through the operator's connected Stripe account and the 4.5% Fuchs fee is collected with the charge. The 6.5% option records a booking request while the operator arranges payment separately; it is not online settlement.
Questions operators ask

What to know before you choose

The details depend on whether Marketplace, Direct, or White Label fits your business.

Choose Marketplace when you want shared Fuchs discovery and booking operations. Discuss Direct when your existing audience is the primary source of demand and you want to help shape that package. Choose White Label when you need a dedicated domain, deployment, data environment, branding, or custom implementation scope.

The shared Marketplace has no monthly subscription fee. The connected Stripe workflow carries a 4.5% Fuchs service fee per booking, and Stripe processing is separate. The booking-request alternative carries a 6.5% Fuchs fee and requires you to arrange payment separately.

The charge occurs in your connected Stripe account. Fuchs collects its application fee with the charge, Stripe charges its processing fee separately, and payouts follow the schedule and settings of your Stripe account.

Fuchs records a booking request and the operator arranges and collects payment through an agreed method outside Fuchs checkout. Fuchs then invoices its 6.5% service fee. This path is not a payment-processing or settlement service.

Not as a generally available, self-serve plan. We are assembling a founding design-partner cohort to shape the product, pricing, attribution, entitlements, and support model before general release.

A proposal defines discovery, setup, web branding, deployment, agreed data migration, acceptance, launch, managed operation, usage economics, and support. Integrations, multi-supplier workflows, enhanced SLA coverage, native app work, bespoke development, portability, and exit assistance are scoped explicitly rather than assumed.

A dedicated domain is part of the White Label discussion. Marketplace uses the shared Fuchs environment. Direct presentation is still being defined with the founding cohort and should not be treated as a dedicated deployment.

Data export, retention, portability, infrastructure handoff, and exit assistance depend on the selected offer and contract. We document those terms before a White Label implementation rather than making a blanket promise that every customer keeps the underlying infrastructure.

A separately branded mobile application is not included as a standard promise. Any mobile-app work must be evaluated and scoped separately in a White Label proposal.

Migration can be included after we inspect the source, data quality, required history, permissions, and acceptance criteria. We then quote the scope and timeline before work starts.

Capabilities are released in stages and may depend on feature flags, data coverage, and the selected implementation. We will demonstrate exactly what is enabled for your offer before you commit to a rollout.

Marketplace support is provided for onboarding and the shared product. Direct cohort support is agreed with design partners. White Label response times, service hours, escalation, and any SLA are written into the proposal and contract.
