Reach the bridge on foot from Ella, either by the roughly three-kilometre walk along the rail alignment, which takes 30 to 45 minutes, or by Gotuwala Road. About six trains cross daily, roughly 06:30, 09:30, 11:30, 15:30, 16:30 and 17:30, but the times shift constantly — confirm at Ella station on the day. Do not stand on the bridge itself: it is live and there is nowhere to go.

Informational only, not legal or travel advice. Visa, permit, drone and access rules differ by nationality and site and change often, so confirm with the official authority (linked where shown) before you travel, shoot or fly.

Informational only, not legal advice. Rules change quickly — always verify with the managing authority before flying. Airspace authorization and land-owner permission are separate: clearance to use the airspace never grants permission to take off, land, or operate from the ground below it.
